How to Stay Anonymous on LinkedIn

Unlike Facebook or other social networks LinkedIn notifies users about who have viewed their profile or page. If you don't want other LinkedIn users to know that you have viewed their profile, then you simply need to adjust your privacy settings:
The first step is to connect to your LinkedIn account.
Go to Account & Settings menu and then click on Privacy & Settings.
Go to Privacy Controls and click on Select what others see when you've viewed their profile.
Choose one of the below options:
Anonymous profile characteristics such as industry and title
You will be totally anonymous
Click on Save Changes to validate your new settings.
