Call Of Duty 4 Patch 1.7.1 is the latest downloadable digitised form of the video game. You need a DISC copy of the video game to get the latest available patch on your system. The current patch caters to English speaking gamers only; this official update for Call of Duty 4 updates the older version of the game to version 1.7.1. You have to install the patch to bring your Mac version of the game up to the current PC version. The enhanced features on the patch include shadows enabled for ATI video cards and improved anti-aliasing performance on NVIDIA video cards.
