Avira Antivir - Error loading system components
On September 21,2023 by Tom RoutleyAfter launching an update of AntiVir, you get this message:
Error loading system components: update process has been completed.
Causes
The main reason is that the Avira update sub-processes can not run properly. It's rarely due to the fact that Avira servers have failed.
Solutions
Check your firewall
For those using a firewall such as ZoneAlarm or COMODO, the Updatee process is sometimes badly identified
updatee is known to have four other instance:
Spyware Doctor Smart Update updatee is a process belonging to Spyware Doctor Internet Security ...
AntiVir Security Antivirus Updater updatee is a process belonging to Avira Internet Security Suite
Adware.W32.RapidBlaster updatee is a process belonging to an advertising program.
Adware.W32.BargainBuddy updatee is a process belonging to an advertising program.
So you must go into the configuration page of your firewall and allow the program to modify the registry and/or write files.
Conflict with ither Antivirus
In fact, if you have other antivirus installed, then the updatee may have been detected as being a virus, thus preventing the proper functioning of Avira. It is very dangerous to use multiple antivirus.
